Monte Rio, Guerneville & Rio Nido & Cazadero   -   Sebastopol, Graton

From its mouth at the town of Jenner, the winding Russian River extends eastward through the redwoods and vineyards of Sonoma County. Each year, thousands of “River Rats” enjoy canoeing, kayaking, swimming, and rafting along these scenic stretches. The small towns in and around the Russian River welcome visitors for shopping, dining, antiquing, sightseeing or a pleasant evening stroll. An outdoor paradise, year-round activities include hiking and horseback riding among the giants in Armstrong Redwoods, with 700 acres of thousand-year-old redwood groves. Canoe along the Russian River with spectacular vistas, expansive beaches and towering redwoods.
